This grant builds on RPF’s support of Bet Tzedek’s Holocaust Survivor Justice Network, a team of attorneys nationwide who offer pro bono legal assistance to help survivors access much needed (and difficult to get) reparations from the German government. Since RPF began funding the Network in 2008 it has helped more than 5,000 survivors secure an estimated $25 million in reparations. Bet Tzedek is now launching phase two—a $1 million effort to train more attorneys and ensure that thousands of survivors secure an additional $25 million.
