    $25,000

  • Description

The arson attack on Beth Israel Congregation, which was founded in 1860, reflects the alarming rise in antisemitism and hate crimes against minorities. Tragically, this was the second attack the congregation has faced since its 1967 bombing by Ku Klux Klan members who targeted the synagogue due to their rabbi’s reputation as a moral voice against racism and segregation. Support from RPF will bolster the congregation’s rebuilding efforts and ensure that Jackson, Mississippi’s only synagogue continues its vital work as a hub for diverse community members building a more just and inclusive society for future generations.
