While studies on the topic show the importance of Jewish culture as a gateway to identify, only a small percentage of Jewish philanthropy dollars go toward the Arts and Culture sector. Hoping to better understand this dissonance and educate funders on the importance of this kind of work, this grant supports the Jewish Funders Network (a consortium of close to 500 foundations and funders) in conducting research and convening meetings with leading culture experts and foundation trustees and staff in four cities in the U.S.
