Established more than 75 years ago, Blue Card is the only national non-profit organization to provide critical cash assistance to Holocaust survivors in need. Over two-thirds of Blue Card survivors live on less than $12,000 per year (even with payments from welfare, Medicaid, and the German government). Since its founding, Blue Card has distributed more than $22 million to help survivors pay for food, medication, rent, and other necessities. This renewal grant supports Blue Card’s critical work.
