A More Perfect Union: The Jewish Partnership for Democracy is a nonpartisan initiative rooted in the belief that the American Jewish community has an important and unique role to play in protecting and strengthening our democracy. The initiative’s goal is to ensure every Jewish person and institution invested in a resilient American democracy has an opportunity to make an impact. A More Perfect Union focuses on three strategic priorities with both short- and long-term initiatives: ensuring free, fair, safe, and accessible elections; expanding opportunities for civic learning; and promoting ideological pluralism to counter the worst effects of toxic polarization. This work includes convening a nationwide collective impact network called The Jewish Partnership for Democracy, currently made up of over 120 Jewish organizations, that works separately and together toward a shared investment in a strong democratic future.
