With over 500,000 people attending Jewish film festivals each year, they are a critical entry point for people interested in learning more about Jewish life and the Jewish story. This grant will enable the Jewish Film Presenters Network to bring together representatives from 290 U.S. Jewish film festivals so they can exchange ideas and knowledge to increase the quality and diversity of films they present, improve their overall programming, and expand their audiences. In addition, the Network will develop an online portal through which festival presenters can learn about films, connect to distributors, and access program ideas and materials.
