  • Description

Sipur Israeli (Israel Story) is a radio series that interweaves first person accounts of every-day life (sometimes humorous, sometimes heartbreaking, told by regular people), with fiction, a weekly theme, and a little bit of music. After discovering a shared fascination with Ira Glass’s popular radio show, This American Life, a group of young Israelis decided to create a version for Israel, a society where Jews and Arabs, immigrants and native born, religious and secular, live in the same country but know little about each other. RPF’s renewal grant supports the completion of the second and third seasons as well as the English language seasons which will air on public radio stations in the U.S. and be made available as podcasts.
